On Friday night we went to a friend's house to help celebrate her birthday. Another friend of hers was also there, and in the course of casual conversation mentioned a wedding her friends were attending this weekend. As she talked about it and was mentioning names, we realized it was the same wedding we were also attending! The wedding was yesterday, and just before we left the church I saw someone over on the groom's side who I recognized but couldn't quite place. It took me only a few seconds to remember - she was a nurse who worked for the home health aide agency I used to use. Outside the church I went over to say hello to her, and it turns out she's the groom's sister! This state is too freakin' small. << prev • home • next >>
