A couple of minor changes to confoozion this week...
The first change is slightly technical, so if you're one of those people who are allergic to that sort of thing, kindly skip ahead to the next paragraph. I've read in a couple of places recently reasons why it is a good idea to use long, descriptive entry titles in one's RSS/Atom feeds. The problem is, I incorporated my short two- to three-word titles into my site design from the start, plus half the fun in writing here is coming up with weird, short, cryptic titles. It just fits in with my weird personality.  So, my solution is this: the short titles stay, but the RSS feed will now display a longer, more descriptive headline to entice subscribers to click and read. (And on another feed issue... to those who prefer full text over excerpts, I'm hearing you, and it will be taken care of as soon as I figure out how to do it correctly!)
On to the second change. As I'd feared, the categorical news summaries became too much to keep up with, between my full time job, being sick, and just generally wanting to sit and be lazy most weeknights, dammit! So we'll try something different. Instead of summarizing up to five stories in each category every week, I'll select just one to highlight in each category. There's no guarantee what day of the week this might happen - I might do one each weekday, or I might do three of them on Wednesday and two more on Saturday. It all depends on what else is going on.
