You may have noticed the "leave your mark" section which appeared in the sidebar a couple of weeks ago. That's my Entrecard widget, which is just a way for other bloggers to "purchase" a 24-hour advertising spot using Entrecard credits. Credits are earned by visiting the blogs of other Entrecard members (and "dropping" your card), having other members drop their card for you, or selling spots on your own widget. It's complicated to explain to someone who doesn't use Entrecard, but once you try it you'll grasp the concept pretty quickly.
John Chow is having a contest for which the prize is 10,000 Entrecard credits. That can buy you a lot of advertising, or various other products from the Entrecard shop. All you have to do to enter, is have an Entrecard account, for starters... then post about the contest on your own blog, and leave him a trackback or a comment linking to your post. The winner will be randomly drawn at the end of this month.
