This is it! The official 300th post, and as promised, confoozled.com's first ever blog contest! Now, don't be put off by my calling it a blog contest - you do not have to have a blog to enter, and most of the prizes can be enjoyed by bloggers and non-bloggers alike. There are lots of ways to earn entries, and there is no limit to how many entries you can get.
So, the good stuff first: here's the list of prizes available. There's no one "grand" prize... all of these prizes are great!

That's a total of nine prizes, which means nine tickets will be drawn. If you have multiple tickets in the pot, you could win multiple prizes. If you ate four-leaf clover soup for breakfast, you could win the whole lot! So the next bit of information you need is how to enter. Pay attention to the REQUIRED steps - if you don't complete those, none of your entries will count.
- (1 ticket) REQUIRED: Subscribe to the e-mail list, either in the sidebar or by clicking the "e-mail list" link below this post, and confirm your subscription (very important: unconfirmed subscriptions will not count, nor will any additional entries). If you do not receive your confirmation, let me know and I will manually confirm you. If you're already subscribed, just say so in your comment (see the next step).
- (1 ticket) REQUIRED: Post a comment on this entry, using the same e-mail address you're subscribed with (it won't be published). In your comment, list any of the additional steps below you've completed for extra tickets. If you earn more tickets later on, you can come back and comment again.
- (5 tickets) Post an entry to your own blog telling your readers about this contest. Be sure to link to this entry.
- (5 tickets) Make any purchase (no minimum) from my Cafepress stores. Forward your order confirmation e-mail to contest (at) confoozled.com using the same e-mail address you used for your confoozled.com subscription.
- (5 tickets) Buy a link on the ScratchBack tip jar over in the sidebar. Bonus: if you're one of the first five to do so, you'll also be entered in a separate drawing to win double your money back. That's a one in five chance!
- (2 tickets per) Share any confoozled.com post newer than July 1, 2008 on a social networking/bookmarking site using the ShareThis widget at the bottom of the post. Only two tickets per post shared even if sharing on multiple sites, but number of posts only limited by how many I make before the end of the contest. In your comment(s), list which posts you shared (titles are fine), the site(s) you shared them on, and your username or a link to your profile on that site.

- (1 ticket) Subscribe to the confoozled.com feed in a reader. No way to prove this one, but I trust you! Don't forget to mention this in your comment(s), or else I won't have any way of knowing you've subscribed!
Okay, so here's exactly how the drawing is going to work. For each ticket you earn, you'll get a line in the official contest entry spreadsheet. Using random numbers generated at random.org, the entries will be shuffled into a random order. Then the prizes will be shuffled into a random order. For each prize, a random number corresponding to a line on the shuffled spreadsheet will be drawn. A ticket, once drawn, will be removed from the pot, but your additional tickets will remain, so you can win more than one prize. The prize you're drawn for is the prize you get, so if you can't use it you'll have to pass it along to a friend - or give it away in your own contest! All entries must be received by 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time on August 20, 2008. Winners will be drawn the next day, and will be posted after all winners have been successfully contacted.
Contest is open to everyone in every country, with the following conditions: (1) You are responsible for any import taxes, duties, etc. I will not lie on customs forms. (2) If laws of my country or yours prohibit the export or import of your prize, it's not my problem. If the prize is confiscated anywhere along the way to you... yup, not my problem. If it is returned to me, a new winner will be drawn.
