My mother bought me a pair of grasshopper nail clippers for Christmas. We thought their bulkiness would make them easier for me to handle and use than regular clippers. This seems to be the case, but the problem is the clippers are not sharp enough to even cut through a hangnail, let alone my nails.
Are they normally this dull? If they are not sharp enough to actually be used, what exactly is their purpose? Is a person simply supposed to use them to firmly grasp the nail and rip it from the finger/toe?
(This article is a slightly more sarcastic version of the e-mail sent to WishingFish customer service.)
