I'm home today... well, since about 11:00 anyway. I've been sick for a month with some kind of cold/sinus thing, and finally reached my breaking point. I've had three nosebleeds in two days, from blowing my nose, coughing too hard, and one from just daring to crinkle my nose or flare my nostril, or whatever it was I did to make it spontaneously start bleeding in the car on the way home for lunch yesterday. I can't stop coughing up this lovely, nasty substance, and if I bend my head forward my nose fills up and I can't breathe. Washing my hair was fun. So I went into work this morning just to do the things that absolutely needed to be done - because for some reason I have this guilt about there not being any one else to do them, even though I am not the one who created that situation, nor the one with the power to change it. And as soon as I was done, I filled the just-in-case amoxicillin prescription my doctor gave me last month when I first started feeling all of this coming on, and came home.
But of course, I'm really fidgety when it comes to trying to rest during the day, so the best I could do was plop my butt in front of the computer all day. And I came up with something fun for you.
