As you may have noticed, last week I finally took my first PayPerPost opportunity. Since I'm still a bit unsure about all of this, I waited for the first of my PPP blog reviews to be approved for payment before considering taking another opportunity. Yesterday I got this e-mail:
This is a notification letting you know that your PayPerPost post, recipe for order, has been approved. Tell your friends how quick and easy that was!
I couldn't help but smirk. Quick and easy? PPP's web site states that posts should be approved within 72 hours from the time they are submitted. This took six days. Granted, this kind of delay may be due to my being a first-time "postie". So, since my first post did in fact get approved, and I now have $5 headed my way (after my post has been up for 30 days), I will stick with it for now. But I have to be honest and say that if it continues to take more than twice as long as advertised just to find out if I'm going to be paid, I may have to rethink it.
I will say that when that $5 comes in, it will be more than I've ever been paid by any of the other advertising programs I've tried out on this site. (Note I say more than I've actually been paid, not more than I've earned - that's another rant for another day.)
