Fun Games to Play with Your Puppy
from Eve Adamson at FetchDog
I wish I had seen this article when Brooskey was younger. The games might have helped make his training a lot easier. But I do know a couple of people with new puppies who might benefit from this information!
Will Gmail Get Themes?
from Philipp at Google Blogoscoped
I love Gmail, but a lot of the complaints I hear about it are from people unhappy with the color scheme and the inability to change it without adding third-party extensions to one's web browser. That may be about to change. I'm excited to see these rumored themes, but the reality is I very well may end up sticking with the default theme, just because I'm so used to it now.
Day 1419: Seeing Eye Cat?
from Gorgeous at Gorgeous On Life
A scanned magazine clip reads:
"Cashew, my 14-year-old yellow Lab, is blind and deaf. Her best friend is Libby, 7, her seeing-eye cat. Libby steers Cashew away from obstacles and leads her to her food. Every night she sleeps next to her. The only time they're apart is when we take Cashew out for a walk. Without this cat, we know Cashew would be lost and very, very lonely indeed. It's amazing but true: This is one animal who knows what needs to be done and does it day in and day out for her friend."
Gorgeous has his own ideas about Libby's true motives, but I think this is the sweetest story ever.
Ted Kennedy
from James at Aces Full of Links
James remembers some moments of the senator's career he was fortunate enough to have witnessed. I personally love the quote from Kennedy in regards to a group of Republican protesters at his re-election rally.
Stupid Client Quote #6322
from leimrod at Clientcopia
I've been entertaining myself lately with stories of stupid customers, bosses and coworkers at Clientcopia. I'm sure I will have stories of my own to submit soon enough. This one really made me laugh.
