finally, a purple iphone case

I know you all know by now how much I love my iPhone. I've been on a quest since the beginning to find a protective case for it in my favorite color: purple. I had a silicone skin, which was supposedly purple but in reality was more pink. But Brooskey ate it, and I decided I didn't like the non-slip properties of it anyway. Then for a while I had a thin plastic snap-on case, which was raspberry pink. But it was cheaply made, scratched easily, and ended up with holes eaten through the plastic by some mosquito repellent that was accidentally sprayed on it. No matter where I looked, there were all kinds of pink cases available, but no purple!

That is, until I found this case at AccessoryGeeks. Yes, that is Eeyore, Winnie the Pooh's melancholy donkey friend. You can see him better on the back of the case below. Eeyore is one of my favorite Disney characters and it's extra convenient that most products that feature him are purple. It's another hard plastic case, but much thicker and more protective than the pink one I had before. It came with a belt clip (that's what the hole in the center of the back side is for) and a lanyard for wearing it around your neck. I probably won't ever use either of these but it's nice to have the option. Who knows, I may one day find myself in a situation where one of them will come in handy.
