I haven't done any silly posts in a while, and I could use some silliness in my life right now, so I'm borrowing this A-Z meme from Krississippi.
A. Attached or Single?
Attached.
B. Best Friend?
I have all different kinds of friends and it's not really possible to classify any one of them as the "best".
C. Cake or pie?
I like both but I think I go for cake more often. (Krissi said brownies, and I think that would fall under the cake category.)
D. Day of choice?
Duh. Saturday. Or the occasional Friday holiday.
E. Essential item?
LOL. Krissi said her iPhone, and I'm in total agreement, but that wouldn't be very original. Um... how about TiVo?
F. Favorite color?
Still purple. Don't see that changing, ever.
G. Gummy bears or worms?
I like the worms. They make a great garnish on an Oreo "dirt" dessert dish, too.
H. Hometown?
Hood River, OR but I don't really think of it as home anymore. Home is wherever my sweetie and my furkids are.
I. Favorite indulgence?
Eek, really tough one. It's kind of like best friends; I don't have just one.
J. January or July?
July, of course. It's my favorite month, and not just because of my birthday (though it certainly helps its cause!).
K. Kids?
Maybe someday. We'd need to be in a position where we could live comfortably on one income and be able to afford help for me during the day when Chris is at work. Until then, I have my doggies.
L. Life isn't complete without?
Something to enjoy. Living just to eat, sleep, and work is not a life at all... something we've had trouble making certain people understand as of late.
M. Marriage date?
I get so sick of being asked this question... LOL.
N. Number of brothers and sisters?
Three sisters, two brothers, and a couple of cousins who spent some time living with us.
O. Oranges or Apples?
I like both. I bring oranges back to work for an afternoon snack, because they keep longer after being sliced. But I'll often eat a delicious Fuji apple after dinner.
P. Phobias?
My only true phobia is bees (and other similar buzzing, stinging, flying insects). I'm fully aware of how irrational my fear is. I've been stung a few times, and yes it's uncomfortable and annoying, but when one of these things is around I act like my life is flashing before my eyes.
Q. Quotes?
The deep, philosophical type: "Nobody ever said life would be easy. They only said it would be worth it!" - my good friend Andrew, who died of complications of Muscular Dystrophy many years ago.
And a funny one: "I reject your reality, and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage, Mythbusters.
R. Reasons to smile?
My wonderfully silly and adorable dogs, and our many nieces and nephews (by blood and by love).
S. Season of choice?
Summer. It's starting to slip away and I'm very bummed.
T. Tag 5 people:
Following Krissi's example on this one. If you're reading, you're it!
U. Unknown fact about me?
Thanks to this blog I'm not sure there are any!
V. Vegetable?
I'm not a big fan of veggies, but if I had to pick one I'd probably say celery.
W. Worst habit?
Definitely emotional eating. I don't even want to talk about that right now.
X. X-ray or Ultrasound?
Strange question, probably because "x-ray" is the only word they could think of that starts with X. Why not "xylophone or steel drums"?
Y. Your favorite food?
Here we go with the "best friend" thing again...
Z. Zodiac sign?
I'm a crab. Refuse to call myself a cancer. Still wishing they would rename that sign.
