Guess what. Christmas is only ninety-two days away! This year I'm following the advice of 100 Days to Christmas to get started with my preparations for the holiday nice and early. I've started a list of who I'm shopping for and what I might get them (a couple of gifts are already bought!). Since I've opted to forgo the snail mail greeting cards again this year and send e-cards only, I've skipped their early card prep steps. But I have begun to work on my own Christmas wish list.
Since I am working on eliminating clutter in our overcrowded condo, I'm not asking for a bunch of small, inexpensive gifts this year. I figure anything like that I really want, I can set aside the money to buy myself, and if I don't really want it that bad it won't be just another thing taking up space. Instead, I've greatly simplified my list and am focusing on the things I can't afford to buy myself. Since I don't have any rich relatives, I'm not expecting any one person to buy one of these things either - rather, I would just like anyone who wants to give me a gift to contribute whatever money they can toward one of these items.
